    Noosa Surf Turkeys – Hire Terms & Conditions

    By making a booking with Noosa Surf Turkeys (NST), you agree to the following terms.

    1. About the Hire

    Noosa Surf Turkeys provides beach and surf equipment hire including (but not limited to) surfboards, bodyboards, stand-up paddle boards (SUPs), kayaks, beach trolleys, umbrellas, CoolCabanas and accessories (“Equipment”).

    All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once payment is received in full.

    2. Hire Period

    • Equipment is hired for the dates selected at the time of booking.

    • Early returns do not qualify for refunds.

    • I authorise NST to charge my credit card for the full hire amount and for any damage, loss or replacement costs if required.

    3. Delivery, Collection & Pickup

    • Equipment can be delivered, collected, or picked up by prior arrangement.

    • Pickup is available from Accom Noosa, Shop 7, 41 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads, during business hours.

    • Delivery and collection occur within agreed time windows and may vary due to weather, traffic or operational needs.

    • I am responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the delivery or collection location.

    • NST is not responsible for delays outside of its control.

    4. Use of Equipment & Safety

    • All equipment must be used safely and responsibly.

    • Equipment must not be used by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • I am responsible for ensuring the equipment is suitable for my ability and the conditions.

    • I understand that the use of surf and beach equipment involves inherent risks and I accept full responsibility for my own safety.

    • Use of the equipment is entirely at my own risk.

    5. Medical Fitness

    • I confirm that I am medically and physically fit to use the hired equipment.

    • NST makes no guarantees regarding my ability, experience or fitness to use the equipment.

    6. Personal Flotation Devices

    • I acknowledge that a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) has been provided where applicable.

    • I understand it is my responsibility to wear and use the PFD correctly.

    7. Care, Loss & Damage

    • I am responsible for the equipment for the full hire period.

    • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.

    • Any loss, theft or damage (including damage caused by misuse or improper storage) will be charged at repair or replacement cost.

    • Equipment must be stored securely when not in use.

    8. Weather Conditions

    • NST does not guarantee weather, surf, swell, wind or tide conditions.

    • No refunds are provided due to unfavourable weather or sea conditions.

    9. Cancellations

    • More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund less a $25 administration fee

    • Within 48 hours of delivery or pickup: 50% of the total hire fee charged

    • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: No refund

    • Early returns: No refunds for unused days

    NST reserves the right to cancel a booking due to safety concerns, extreme weather or unforeseen operational issues. In this case, a full refund will be provided.

    10. Liability & Indemnity

    • NST is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising from the use or misuse of hired equipment.

    • I agree to release and indemnify Noosa Surf Turkeys, its owners and employees from all claims arising from my use of the equipment, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    11. Acceptance of Terms

    By proceeding with my booking, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
